Nazran okrug
The Nazran okrug[lower-alpha 1] was a district (okrug) of the Terek Oblast of the Caucasus Viceroyalty of the Russian Empire.[1] The area of the Nazranovskiy Okrug made up part of the North Caucasian Federal District of Russia. The administrative centre of the district was the city of Vladikavkaz.[2]

Kavkazskiy kalendar
According to the 1917 publication of Kavkazskiy kalendar, the Nazranovskiy Okrug had a population of 59,046 on 14 January [O.S. 1 January] 1916, including 31,038 men and 28,008 women, 57,178 of whom were the permanent population, and 1,868 were temporary residents:[4]
