From the Pre-Greek [Term?] source as Mycenaean Greek 𐀓𐀈𐀛𐀊 (ku-do-ni-ja), possibly a Phoenician variant of Classical Syriac ܟܶܬܳܢܳܐ (kettānā, flax).
