լորձն
Old Armenian
Alternative forms
- լորձ (lorj) – post-classical
Etymology
The origin is unknown.[1][2] Related to Georgian ლორწო (lorc̣o, “slime; sticky sap; slobber”), which Ačaṙean derives from Armenian,[1] but for which a native Kartvelian etymology has also been proposed. Possibly also related to լորտու (lortu).
