լորձն

Old Armenian

Alternative forms

Etymology

The origin is unknown.[1][2] Related to Georgian ლორწო (lorc̣o, slime; sticky sap; slobber), which Ačaṙean derives from Armenian,[1] but for which a native Kartvelian etymology has also been proposed. Possibly also related to լորտու (lortu).
