Etymology

From Parthian [script needed] (nʾz /nāz-/, to take pleasure, delight; exult, triumph). Compare Middle Persian [Manichaean needed] (nʾz /nāz-/, to take pleasure, delight; exult, triumph), Persian ناز (nâz). These are perhaps from Proto-Iranian *nāiz-, from the same Proto-Indo-European source whence Russian не́га (néga), не́жный (néžnyj).

Verb

նազիմ (nazim)
