From Middle Persian tnwl (tanūr, “oven”) from Akkadian 𒅎𒋗𒆸 (tinūrum). This word has likewise been borrowed into Aramaic as תנורא / ܬܰܢܽܘܪܳܐ (tannūrā) and therethrough spawned Arabic تَنُّور (tannūr).
