سيمانة

Moroccan Arabic

Etymology

From Spanish semana and/or French semaine, both eventually from Latin septimana. The retention of the first syllable with the vowel -i- may point more to Spanish origin, though it might also represent the French [ə].

Noun

سيمانة (simana) f

  1. week
