لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله

لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّٰهِ‎ • (lā ḥawla wa-lā quwwata ʾillā bi-llāhi)

1. there is no might and no power except by God

• بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ‎ (bi-smi llāhi, “in the name of God”)
  • بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ‎ (bismi llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīmi)
• إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ‎ (ʾin šāʾa llāhu, “if God wills”)
• مَا شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ‎ (mā šāʾa llāhu, “what God wills”)
• بِإذْنِ ٱللَّٰهِ‎ (biʾiḏni llāhi, “by the permission of God”)
• سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّٰهِ‎ (subḥāna llāhi, “glory be to God”)
• اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ‎ (al-ḥamdu lillāhi, “all praise is for God”)
• اَللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ‎ (allāhu ʾakbaru, “God is greater”)
• أَسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّٰهِ‎ (ʾastaḡfiru llāhi, “I seek forgiveness from God”)
• اَللَّٰهُمَّ‎ (allāhumma, “God; O God”)
