どっこいしょ • (dokkoisho) 

1. uttered when making a great physical exertion, or when moving while fatigued

     たとえば、どうしていつもアどっこいしょと言(い)うのか。年(とし)寄(よ)りだから...。そりゃあそうですが、私(わたし)も六(ろく)十(じゅう)代(だい)半(なか)ばになってから、朝(あさ)、スイと起(お)きられなくなりました。

     Tatoeba, dōshite itsumo a dokkoisho to iu no ka. Toshiyori da kara. Soryā sō desu ga, watashi mo rokujūdai nakaba ni natte kara, asa, sui to okirarenaku narimashita.

     For example, why do I always say ah, dokkoisho? From age... That’s true, but even from my mid-sixties I couldn’t wake up easily in the morning.
