  1. creates agent nouns, indicating a person or thing that does something, much like the English -er and -or
    ‎řídit + ‎-č → ‎řidič (“driver”)
    ‎hrát + ‎-č → ‎hráč (“player”)
    ‎vyprávět + ‎-č → ‎vypravěč (“narrator”)
