- This one-handed ASL sign is produced as follows:
- Posture the dominant hand in the “L” handshape at the chin, thumb of the dominant hand pointing back.

- Repeatedly retract and extend the index finger.
Squeeze
- When used interrogatively, this sign is produced furrowed eyebrows, squinted eyes, head tilted, and a very small headshake (i.e. pivoting slightly from side to side, not nearly so much as that of a “no” gesture).
