Irish

Verb

faighir

  1. (archaic, Munster) second-person singular present indicative of faigh
  2. (archaic, Munster) second-person singular future dependent of faigh
  3. (archaic, Munster) second-person singular present subjunctive of faigh

Usage notes

The standard forms are the analytic constructions faigheann tú in the present indicative, faighidh tú in the future, and go bhfaighe tú in the present subjunctive. The future form undergoes eclipsis rather than lenition after ní (“not”).
