Etymology
From fitta (“pussy”) + stim (“school (of fish)”). Made widely known through an anecdote told by trade unionist Stig Malm in 1992 that involved a taxi driver using the word, which made its way to the media. Originally of the women's wing of the Swedish Social Democratic Party as well as feminists generally.
