fluiera
Romanian
Etymology
Related to fluier; it is disputed whether the noun was derived from the verb or vice-versa. Some other proposed theories include a Vulgar Latin root *flaulāre, or a derivative of Latin flāre, or alternatively of ultimately imitative origin.
Verb
