Inherited from Ottoman Turkish ‎هپسی‎‎ (hepsi, “all of it, all of them”), from Ottoman Turkish ‎هپ‎‎ (hep, “the whole, all, wholly, entirely”)[1], from Persian هم‎ (ham, “also, too”)[2].
