pröjsa
See also: projsa
Swedish

    Etymology

Borrowed from Tavringer Romani prejsa, from Romani pleiservāva-. Related to Traveller Norwegian preisa, pressa and Kalo Finnish Romani presavā. Perhaps a loan from a Slavic language, e.g. Serbo-Croatian plaćati. The initial pr- as opposed to pl-, indicates however that it was influenced or borrowed from German Preis (“price”).
