List of warships gifted by India

The following is a list of warships gifted by India to other countries.
Note - these are gifts, not export or sale.

 Vietnam

1. INS Kirpan, Indian Navy gifted and transferred for the first time an active duty warship to any country in 2023.[1]

 Myanmar

1. UMS Minye Theinkhathu previously INS Sindhuvir, a Kilo-class submarine, Indian Navy gifted INS Sindhuvir renamed UMS Minye Theinkhathu to Myanmar Navy in 2020.[2]

 Maldives

1. India gifted a Fast Patrol Vessel, and a Landing Craft Assault ship to Maldives in 2023.[3]

2. India gifted offshore patrol vessel to Maldives in 2019.[4]

3. India gifted MCGS Huravee a Trinkat class patrol vessel to Maldives in 2006.[5]

 Mauritius

1. India gifted INS Amar, a seaward defence boat to Mauritius way back in 1974.[6]

2. India gifted 9 Mandovi class patrol boat and replaced them with 5 Praga class patrol craft in 2000.[7]

3. India gifted T61, a SDB Mk.3 patrol boat in 1993.[8]

4. India gifted CGS Observer in 2001, a AMPL (P-2000)-class interceptor boat.[9]

 Seychelles

1. India gifted Fast Patrol Vessel to Seychelles in 2021.[10]

2. India gifted PS Constant a Trinkat-class patrol vessel to Seychelles in 2014.[11]

3. India gifted PS Topaz a Trinkat-class patrol vessel to Seychelles in 2005.[12]

 Mozambique

1. India gifted 2 Fast Interceptor Boats to Mozambique in 2019.[13]

2. India gifted 2 Fast Interceptor Boats to Mozambique in 2021.[14]

 Sri Lanka

1. India gifted ICGS Varaha, Vikram class offshore patrol vessel to Sri Lanka in 2015.[15]
