Mint de Kiss Me

Mint de Kiss me (ミントで Kiss me, lit: Kiss Me With Mint) is a collection of 8 short stories in manga format (tankōbon) written and illustrated by Yuu Watase in 1994, and subsequently distributed in Japan by Shogakukan in January 1995 as part of the Flower Comics (フラワーコミックス) collection.[1] This tankōbon is made up of: Kiss Me With Mint, Genseika, Seal Of Flower, Yamato Nadeshiko Romance, Sand Tiara, Hatsuki Triangle, 700 Days of Blue, and Jewel in Heart respectively. Among these, Yuu Watase chose "Kiss Me With Mint" to be the main story of this collection.

"Mint de Kiss Me "(ミントで Kiss me) plot

The story revolves around a magical mint candy that allows people's spirits to switch bodies when they kiss while eating it. Here's a brief plot summary:

Misono Kari is a high school student who has a crush on her teacher, Toono. In an attempt to get closer to him, she discovers a magic spell involving a mint candy. The spell states that if two people eat the mint candy and then kiss, their spirits will switch bodies, and they will "become one."

One day, after school, Misono gathers her courage and tries to kiss Toono using the magic mint candy. However, she accidentally kisses Shindou, a boy who has been bothering her. As a result of the spell, Misono's spirit leaves her body and enters Shindou's body, and Shindou's spirit enters Misono's body.

Now trapped in each other's bodies, Misono and Shindou must navigate their daily lives while trying to find a way to reverse the body-switching spell. Throughout the series, they learn more about each other's lives and secrets, and the experience leads to various comedic and heartwarming moments.
