Patna Haj Bhawan

Haj Bhawan (Hindi: हज भवन) is a complex in the Patna district in Bihar, India. It provides accommodations for Muslims on their way to Hajj.[1] It is run by the Bihar State Haj Committee.[2][3] it was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar on 17 October 2007.[4]

History
  • In April 2023, The Janata Dal (United) had organised a Dawat-e-Iftar at the Haj Bhawan which was participated by many leader.[5]
  • In 2022 during the Haj Time, The Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar attended the farewell ceremony of Hajis and asked to pray for the country.[6]
  • In April 2022, During the Ramadan, Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister of Bihar attended the Dawat-e-Iftar organised by Haj Bhawan.[7][8]

Activism
  • The Bihar State Haj Committee provides Free coaching for Bihar Public Services Commission exams.[9][10] Total 51 candidates out of 100 cracked the exam successfully.[11][12]
