شَرِيف (šarīf) (feminine شَرِيفَة (šarīfa), masculine plural شَرِيفُون (šarīfūn) or شُرَفَاء (šurafāʔ) or أَشْرَاف (ʔašrāf), feminine plural شَرِيفَات (šarīfāt) or شَرَائِف (šarāʔif), elative أَشْرَف (ʔašraf))

  1. noble, of noble lineage, honored, celebrated
