Suffix

-asz

  1. (personal suffix) Used to form the second-person singular present tense of verbs (indicative mood, indefinite conjugation).
    fogyaszt (“to consume”) → fogyasztasz (“you consume, you are consuming”)
  2. (nominal-forming suffix) Used to form nouns and adjectives from verb or nouns.
    válik (“to become”) → válasz (“answer, reply”)
    kopik (“to get thin from wear”) → kopasz (“bald”)
