дебна

Etymology

From Proto-Slavic *debnǫti, cognate with Macedonian демне (demne)/дебне (debne).

Written as дѣбнѫ (děbnǫ) in Gerov's dictionary (Vol. 1: 388), probably under the influence of the similar sounding Bulgarian дябам (djabam, to seek advantage, to infiltrate).
