Etymology
A semi-calque of Turkish (Ottoman Turkish یاشایش) yaşayış (“being, way of life”): the first component йәшә- (yäşä-) is translation (and cognate) of Turkish yaşa- (“to live”), while the second is borrowed "as is" and cannot be reestablished or reinterpreted in Bashkir.
