    Homay qoş tunın keyep şunduq osop kilgän ti // Üle yatqan Uraldıŋ awıðınan üpkän, ti.
    The bird Umay donned her fur coat, immediately came flying, (and) kissed Ural, who was lying dead, on his mouth.
    Ҡарлуғас түбән осһа – ямғыр булыр, бейектә осһа – аяҙытыр.
    Qarluğas tübän osha – yamğır bulır, beyektä osha – ayaðıtır.
    If a swallow flies low, it will rain, if (it) flies high, the weather will clear up.
