آراستن

From Middle Persian 𐭠𐭫𐭠𐭮𐭲𐭭𐭩‎ (ʾlʾstny /ārāstan/), prefixed form of Proto-Iranian *Hraz-, ultimately from Proto-Indo-European *h₃reǵ- (“to straighten”). Cognate with other Persian verbs پیراستن‎ (pirâstan, “to embellish”) and افراختن‎ (afrâxtan, “to hoist”), and distantly to Sanskrit राजति (rājati, “to direct”), Latin regō (“to rule; to steer”).

     He ruled the kingdom for a time until some princes rebelled against his authority, throwing the lords of all regions into strife with one another as they arranged their armies in opposition.
