Usage notes

  • When used with a noun ("to cause B"), an ezâfe-construction is used, e.g. باعث سرطان می‌شود (bâ'es-e saratân mi-šavad, it causes cancer).
  • When used with a verb ("to cause B to C"), the construction باعث سدن که (bâ'es šodan ke...) is used.
