From the root ب ل غ (b-l-ḡ); compare بَلَغَ (balaḡa, to be reach, to go far) and بَلَاغَة (balāḡa, eloquence).

بَلِيغ (balīḡ) (feminine بَلِيغَة (balīḡa), masculine plural بَلِيغُون (balīḡūn) or بُلَغَاء (bulaḡāʔ), feminine plural بَلِيغَات (balīḡāt), elative أَبْلَغ (ʔablaḡ))
