تنبسه

From the verb تَنبَسیدَن‎ (tanbasidan, “to twist threads”), from Proto-Indo-European *temp- (“to span, stretch, extend”) whence also Persian تافتن‎ (tâftan, “to twist; to twine”), تابیدن‎ (tâbidan, “to twist, turn, spin”).
