"Son of Tur," whose name is of uncertain origin; possibly from تور (“brave”). The name is attested in the Avesta as 𐬙𐬏𐬌𐬭𐬌𐬌𐬀 (tūiriia), drawing comparisons to Sanskrit तुरीय (turīya, “fourth”).
