فصولياء
Arabic
Etymology
The term has been borrowed into dialects which do not distinguish a long /a/ in unstressed position anyway, hence it is not fixed by tradition that the written vowel is plene. On the other hand, Ottoman Turkish varied here too.
Pronunciation
- IPA(key): /fa.sˤuː.li.jaːʔ/
