كوزينة

Moroccan Arabic

Etymology

Eventually from Latin coquina, probably through Spanish cocina. The word would seem too old to be from French cuisine, and the fact that it is more western (Moroccan and Algerian rather than Tunisian) speaks against Venetian cusina, whence Greek κουζίνα (kouzína).

Noun

كوزينة (kuzina) f

  1. kitchen
