      I laud Agni, the chosen priest, God, minister of sacrifice,
      the hotar, lavishest of wealth.

Usage notes

The verb arose as a result of intervocalic sandhi in ईड् (īḍ). So:

अग्निमीडेagnimīḍeI laud Agni

became:

अग्निमीळेagnimīḷeI laud Agni
