Borrowed from Arabic تَسْبِيح (tasbīḥ) through Persian. Doublet of সুবহান (subhan) and সুবহানাল্লাহ (subhanallah). Cognate with Dongxiang tesibihha, Turkish tespih, Polish tasbih and Swahili tasbihi.
