Borrowed from Arabic نَار‎ (nār), from the root ن و ر‎ (n-w-r); from Proto-Semitic *nūr-. Doublet of নূর (nur), নূরুল (nurul), মনির (monir), মনোয়ার (monōẇar), and মনোয়ারা (monōẇara).
