A hypothetical correction of the attested ϯⲕⲉϣⲣⲱⲙⲓ (tikešrōmi) which is ϯ (ti, feminine definite article) + ⲕⲱϣ (kōš, break, verb) + ⲣⲱⲙⲓ (rōmi, man, noun), lit. "the men breaker". Calque of Arabic القَاهِرَة (al-qāhira, The Victorious).
