A borrowing,[1][2][3] either a learned borrowing directly from Latin fēllātiō, a spelling pronunciation of English fellatio, or a borrowing from German Fellatio (as with other sex terms such as オナニー (onanī, masturbation)).

First cited to a text from 1953.[1]
