- One of the hills in Jerusalem, where the Biblical king Solomon built his great temple, which the Roman emperor Vespasian's son and successor Titus levelled (except for the Wailing Wall) in 70 C.E. during a failed Jewish rebellion and today forming an Islamic compound atop which sit the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
