Usage notes
- The stem atã could never be used inside a sentence without a prefix. The infinitives were satã (“a thing being hard”) and tatã (“a person being hard”); the form -ratã would be used in combination with words ending in a stressed vowel; and the form -atã would be used in combination with other words.
