Borrowed from Hindi चोदा (codā, abusive term for “son”), from चोदना (codnā, “to copulate”), from Ashokan Prakrit *𑀘𑁄𑀤𑁆𑀤𑀢𑀺 (*coddati), from Sanskrit चोदति (codati).
