  1. (archaic, British slang) A brothel bully; a man employed by a brothel as the equivalent of bouncer; a bodyguard for prostitutes.
  2. (archaic, British slang) A pimp or brothel-owner who runs a brothel for the purpose of robbery or extortion more than for prostitution.
