Etymology
A lë- prefixed formation, from an unattested *kunda, from Proto-Albanian *kunda, related to Proto-Germanic *hutan (“to swing”) (cf. Middle High German hutzen), and perhaps Lithuanian kuzdeti (“to tremble”), kùdulti (“to pull hair hair or beard”).[1]
