  2. (US, obsolete) A West Indian fish, Chaetodipterus faber, with a high dorsal fin and brilliant colours.
  3. (Australia, obsolete) A snapper, Pagrus auratus, whose skull is shaped in the front like a cap worn by light-horsemen.
