1. (transitive) to pass, to pass by, to go past

   Właśnie minąłem dużą ciężarówkę. Właśnie minęła mnie duża ciężarówka.

   I just passed a large truck. A large truck just passed me.

   Czemu Kasia nie przyszła? Minęła ją dobra zabawa.

   Why didn't Kasia come? She missed out on a good time.

   Nie martw się, nie minie ich kara za to co zrobili.

   Don't worry, they will be punished for what they did.

2. (intransitive) to pass, to elapse, to go by

   Minęło dwadzieścia minut zanim przyjechała karetka.

   Twenty minutes passed before the ambulance arrived.

   Minie trochę czasu, zanim pojawią się jakieś rezultaty.

   It will take some time for any results to show.

   Młodość minęła im na poszukiwaniu samych siebie.

   They spent their youth in search of themself.

   Ból już prawie minął.
