Types of pitched roof include: the open gable roof, the box gable roof, the dutch gable roof, the hip roof, the jerkinhead roof the gambrel roof, the mansard roof, the saltbox roof, the pyramid hip roof or any other polygonal hip roof, the shed roof, and the butterfly roof.
