Etymology
Gheg variant of Tosk prëhër, prehër. According to Orel from Proto-Albanian *prōjena (“front”), from Proto-Indo-European *prō (“forward, in front of, before”). Cognate to Ancient Greek πρωΐ (prōḯ, “early in the morning”), Old High German fruo (“id”).[1]
