tahk

Estonian

Etymology

From Proto-Finnic *tahko, from Proto-Finno-Permic [Term?]. Cognate to Finnish tahko, Votic tahko (wood block), Udmurt тӥш (tiš, axe eye, backside of a blade), and Komi-Zyrian тыш (tyš, axe eye).
