baaad

English

Adjective

baaad

  1. Elongated form of bad.
    • 1996, John Tierney, “Recycling is Garbage”, in New York Times:
"How does all this make you feel?"
      "Baaaad", the students moaned.

Usage notes

As with other elongated forms, the number of repetitions of the vowel is arbitrary; a longer spelling indicates a longer pronunciation by the speaker, but not necessarily a greater intensity of meaning.
