From Ottoman Turkish بتمك (bitmek, to come to an end, to sprout, to come to existence)[1], from Proto-Turkic *büt- (to end, to accomplish, to create, to build, to heal, to grow)[2][3], morphologically bit- + -ki + -se- + -l[4].
