Prefix

fuŝ-

  1. (colloquial) in a botched, bungled, or ill-conceived manner.
    paroli (speak)fuŝparoli (speak (a language) poorly and without effort).
  2. (colloquial) botched, bungled, ill-conceived, ruined.
    verko (artwork)fuŝverko (botched artwork, bungled artwork, ill-conceived artwork).

Usage notes

  • Unlike the prefix mis-, fuŝ- implies a harsh negative judgment.
  • In traditional Esperanto grammatical terms, fuŝ- is not a true prefix but a verbal root used in compounding.
