jungle bunny
English
Etymology
Originates from the 1950s. One source claims it originated when British armed services used it as slang to describe an Afro-Caribbean person. Another source claims that "jungle" refers to the jungles of Africa, and "bunny" refers to some individuals stating that jackrabbits resembled lynched black people.
