History

The party first contested national elections in 1997,[3] when it was one of several local parties to form an alliance with the Liberal Union in the parliamentary elections that year. The UL failed to win a seat,[3] but in the 2001 elections won two seats.[4] The party did not contest the 2005 elections,[3]
For the 2009 elections the party was part of the Reformist Coalition, which won 11 of the 28 seats.[5] In the 2011 elections the party won two seats,[6] supporting Democrats for Andorra. After not competing in the 2015 elections, the party formed a 'third way' coalition alongside the Third Way party and several Independents for the 2019 elections. The coalition received 1,853 votes and won four seats.[2] The party did not contest the 2023 elections.
